Designer/printer Dafi Kühne (Switzerland) presents his work and the story behind it at GWA on Sunday april 15. Dafi Kühne is a young Swiss graphic designer and letterpress printer. In his studio babyinktwice he collected more than 20 tons of letterpress equipment over the last years. Dafi made himself
a name as a poster designer combining old printing technique in combination with contemporary digital tools and materials. Never retro, his work is a clever response to the search for new ways of graphic expression.
Kühne published a pretty well designed book last year: True Print. And beware: if you ask him questions that are too obvious his answer will be READ THE F*G BOOK. And you should. Its a gem!
